Poetics of Rumi
In our Rumi poetry circle, the aim is to introduce untranslated poems of Rumi and Hafez and to explore the philosophical notions behind them. Civilizations have risen and fallen, but the ideas and the poetic aesthetics of these verses have remained intact in the subconscious of those who inherited them. During the sessions we will address a wide scope of subjects tangential to these poems, such as philosophy, history, and dance. The extent to which we delve into these subjects is heavily dependent on the interest of the participants. We’ll have a chance to immerse ourselves in these verses to understand and experience what Rumi called the ”Riches of Being” during these sessions.
